Slow Tech in Education and Artificial Intelligence
The integration of artificial intelligence into the educational context must be sustainable, ethical and grounded in pedagogical principles. Let’s rethink the relationship between education and digital technologies, prioritising the wellbeing of students and teachers.

The STIAEM pedagogical model
An innovative, human-centred educational framework. AI is not merely automation, but a ‘co-creator’ supporting education, ensuring that human beings always remain at the centre of the learning process.

Socio-Technical Ethics

Guiding principles for the ethical integration of AI
The STIAEM project enhances teachers’ digital skills and promotes the responsible integration of Artificial Intelligence in schools. Through research, training and experimentation, the project aims to define an educational model that can be replicated across Europe, aligning the use of AI with sound pedagogical and ethical principles.
To ensure the sustainability of the results, a hybrid hub (physical at the University of Foggia and digital) will be created for continuing professional development and research.

Organisation and leadership
The implementation of the stiaem project is based on an approach of integrated international collaboration. The activities are organised into four work packages (wp), each of which is assigned to a partner with a specific coordinating role to maximise the impact of the results.
